 About 03D Visualizer

The Yamaha 03D is unquestionably one of the best buys in digital mixing. We know that Visualizer is not exactly cheap if you're on an 03D budget, but when you put the two together, you'll open up so much more new flexibility, save so much time and frustration, and enjoy so much more creative freedom that the 03D will look like an even bigger bargain.

Visualizer connects to your 03D using the available serial cable and gives you instant access to nearly every feature in the mixer. Save and store any or all types of data managed within the mixer.

It doesn't even require MIDI or audio cards on your PC. Live sound engineers can mix from any Pentium-class notebook PC with standard serial port connectors, and studio engineers can control 03Ds using "obsolete" PC hardware they wouldn't normally dream of applying to pro audio applications.

In short, 03D Visualizer is a flexible and valuable control center and mix manager for the 03D.

Hardware and Software Requirements

 Minimum Requirements

 Recommended Requirements

IBM PC, Pentium 133MHz CPU or newer

MMX-compatible 200MHz CPU

Windows 95 or Windows NT 4.0

Windows 98 (multiple monitor support in Win98 dramatically enhances efficiency when used with C-Console)

24MB system RAM

64MB system RAM (prevents possible swapfile thrash which could degrade performance or produce stutter)

One free COM port (modem/mouse-type 9-pin port) per 03D attached

USB motherboard (permits mouse to use USB port, reducing the risk of COM port assignment incompatibilities or configuration hassles)

Monitor capable of 1024x768 display resolution and HiColor (16K or 32K colors) or TrueColor (24M colors) display depth; 4MB PCI or AGP graphics adapter

17" monitor for comfortable 1024x768 viewing on a single monitor. Multiple monitors under Win98 or newer are highly recommended over a larger monitor at a higher resolution.
