These files are complete mixer snapshots (.csn files) or sessions (.css files). In most cases, session files will contain MIDI remote setup data for use with particular applications or hardware devices, while snapshots will show off unique implementations of the hardware using interesting C-Console setups.

Here's the really fun stuff. "Skins" are virtual mixing surfaces that behave exactly the same way as your current C-Console dialogs but sport a different appearance. Alternative mixing surfaces go a step farther, either redesigning an existing C-Console dialog with different control styles or positions, or adding completely new capabilities to your C-Console with a brand new dialog. Skins simply change the look of C-Console; alternative surfaces could add whole new menu items to your View menu. Think you've got what it takes to design your own skins? Perhaps you do. Find out about the C-Console SDK to see if a new suit of clothes is in your C-Console's future. "Skins"
